The purpose and objectives of the scientific publication
The purpose of the collection is to form a scientific space for publishing the results of fundamental and applied research in the field of construction, developing theoretical principles for the calculation and design of structures, introducing resource-efficient materials and modern technologies, as well as creating a scientific basis for reliable, safe and effective construction, operation, reconstruction and restoration of buildings and structures, in particular civil defense facilities, taking into account current challenges and needs for the development of the industry.
The objectives of the collection: publication of current results of fundamental and applied research in the field of construction and civil engineering; promotion of the development of theoretical principles of calculation, design and modeling of building structures and systems; support of research aimed at increasing the reliability, durability, safety and efficiency of buildings and structures; introduction of resource-efficient materials, innovative technologies and modern approaches into construction practice; integration of digital technologies (including BIM and modeling) into the design, construction and monitoring processes; scientific substantiation of decisions on the reconstruction, strengthening and restoration of facilities, including those damaged as a result of military operations; development of scientific approaches to the design of civil protection facilities and increasing their operational reliability; popularization of the principles of sustainable, energy-efficient and resource-saving construction; dissemination of advanced scientific and practical experience and results of experimental research; promotion of interdisciplinary interaction and integration into the international scientific space; support for young scientists and creation of conditions for testing the results of their research.
The collection will include the following sections:
- Resource-efficient materials, their properties, and modern manufacturing technologies.
- Research, design, and implementation of effective structures, buildings, and facilities.
- Features of materials and structural design for the construction of civil defense structures and fortifications.
- Bases and foundations.
- Construction mechanics, strength of materials, theoretical mechanics.
- Technology and organization of construction production.
- Engineering systems for water supply and drainage.
- Technical condition, reconstruction, and restoration of buildings and structures.
Original scientific articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration in other publications are accepted for publication.
The authors guarantee the reliability of the submitted results, the correctness of the use of sources and compliance with the principles of academic integrity.
Within one issue of the publication - the collection of scientific papers “Resource-saving materials, structures, buildings and structures” - no more than one scientific article by one author or co-author may be published.
The collection of scientific papers “Resource-saving materials, structures, buildings and structures” does not cooperate with the aggressor state or with countries that officially support armed aggression against Ukraine. Materials submitted by authors affiliated with institutions of such states are not accepted for consideration.
References to scientific works authored by persons affiliated with the aggressor state are prohibited.
